IBS is a chronic gastrointestinal disorder that affects millions of people worldwide. It is characterised by a group of symptoms, including abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhoea, and constipation. The exact cause of IBS is not fully understood, but stress and anxiety have been identified as triggers for many individuals.

Those with IBS know how much it can impact their life.

It causes periods of stomach pain, bloating, diarrhoea and constipation. These symptoms vary and  come and go, lasting anywhere sometimes few days to a few months each time.

IBS is a lifelong condition. Typically it first impacts people between the ages of 20 and 30. Women are twice as likely to be affected than men. Some people experiencing more severe symptoms than others.
