FIND OUT MORE ABOUT ME
I know how well hypnotherapy works because it changed my life.
Hypnotherapy has given me the confidence I needed to make positive changes in my life. Using simple and impactful tools and techniques can pull us in the right direction and tap into the potential we have, but that may be underutilised. The process is different for everyone and there is no one size fits all. That is why an individual approach to hypnotherapy works so well.
My approach is practical, pragmatic, and built around common sense. There is no magic solution, but changing our thoughts, changes our feelings and behaviours. It can be that simple.
To help you make the changes you want and achieve your goal I will be finding out a lot more about you during our sessions. So it is only fair I tell you a bit more about me.
My background is in communications, marketing, and PR. I have had strategic leadership roles for a range of national and global organizations. So I understand language and words and I know what makes a good story. I am fascinated by our internal dialogue and the impact of the stories and words (good and bad) that we all tell ourselves.
I am an award-winning diversity and equality champion and mental health campaigner. I am trustee for Hebden Bridge Film Festival and Happy Valley Pride and have recently been working on the Mind Your Head campaign. I enjoy running and have two adorable greyhounds. I recently moved to Dumfries and Galloway and am enjoying getting to know our new home.
For many years I have suffered with mental health issues, in particular anxiety and depression. Related to this, I have also suffered from Irritable Bowel Syndrome. These are all things I still deal with but I know I can manage them due to the hypnotherapy I have had and the techniques I have learned.
