Working to the highest standards

Updated: Jan 11, 2024

It is important when choosing a hypnotherapist to work with that check their qualifications and memberships. Why is this important? it means when choosing a hypnotherapist to work with you can do so with confidence!

Hypnotherapy is an unregulated field, so choosing a therapist that belongs to a professional association means they meet set training standards and abide by a Code of Conduct.

I am a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), the UK’s leading not-for-profit hypnotherapy professional association.

As a practising member, I am fully insured and trained to the highest standard. I attended an NCH approved training school, meaning the training provided was robust and ethical, giving me the foundations to be a highly skilled professional Hypnotherapist.

As a member I am committed to the NCH Code of Conduct and Ethics and have ongoing peer support/supervision. Membership also means a commitment to ongoing professional development (CPD).

I have completed the Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (NCH), and was awarded a certificate of achievement by NCFE. The HPD (NCH) has been accredited by NCFE as having measurable learning outcomes that have been benchmarked at Level 4 (using Ofqual’s Qualification and Credit Framework [QCF] level descriptors). So this means it is a credible, externally validated Hypnotherapy Diploma.

I am also registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

So whether you choose to work with me, or another hypnotherapist, a few simple checks ensures you can do so with confidence!
